Okay, so I have finally updated my blog last night and uploaded pictures as I was waiting to see mom and dad on Skype. I was so excited to see them, even though our faces were both blurry, at least we could actually talk! They even showed me Lucy! Wow do I miss my little girl. The last couple of days have been good. A little stressful because of the medical exam, but all was fine in the end. My friends here have been really nice. I’m going to be sad when tomorrow comes just because we all are spread out, but so excited to meet my host family. We have been crammed in a hotel for the last 5 days, being taught in methodology, intercultural relations, safe & transportation and 3 hours a day of Georgian language a day. I hate language classes to start out with, but Nana has been so amazing, she really gets us going every day. I have not been really jet-legged after the first day, it’s so hard to get up at 8am, every day, and Mom & dad wish you were here to help me wake up.
So I am not getting the language in class and where I’m located they speak really fast, so maybe I’ll pick it up really fast or the total opposite!
I am sorry to Sister Carrie and Gabe. I feel like I’ve included everyone else except them. Just want to say that I am so proud of Gabe, she’s been working so hard lately to get finished and graduate. She also has submitted her last Grad school application this past couple weeks, so fingers crossed!!!! All my limbs are crossed that you get into the one that will be the best fit for you!
Carrie, wow do I miss talking about Greys with you! Internet is so slow, so I will miss all the episodes so your gonna just have to write up a detailed summary about what happens!! Miss you, I wish we could have had one more mini vacation together before I left!
As, I’m waiting writing this I’m in language class so not paying attention even though I should! Today is the shopping trip, then that will probably be the next blog post!
